Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Every October, we come together to raise awareness about breast cancer, a disease that affects millions of lives around the world. This month is dedicated to providing education, support, and hope to all those affected by breast cancer—whether you’re a patient, survivor, caregiver, or advocate. Through awareness, early detection, and advancements in treatment, we can continue to make strides toward a future where breast cancer is no longer a threat.
KCHS is committed to empowering our community with the knowledge and resources needed to fight breast cancer. Throughout this month, we will be sharing important information about prevention, screening, treatment options, and support services available. Together, we can spread awareness, offer compassion, and encourage those facing this journey. Join us in making a difference and supporting the fight against breast cancer.
3D Mammography at KCHS
Mammography is an x-ray exam of breast tissue. The image produced is a mammogram that provides an extremely clear image of breast tissue and identifies problems such as cysts or tumors. Our rapid 3D Mammography exam has a rapid 3.7 second scan time. In addition, SmartCurve Comfort Paddles provide a more comfortable exam.
Every Woman Matters at KCHS
