Registered Nurse - Acute Care/ER (Night Shift)
Hours / Days:
Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Full-time: 3 shifts per week | Part-time: 1-2 shift per week
Every 3rd weekend rotation required
Holiday rotation required
$35 - $45 / hour base rate (RN) | $5 / hour Night Shift Differential | $7 / hour Weekend Night Shift Differential
Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus available | Tuition Assistance | Flexible Scheduling | Low Nurse-to-Patient Ratio
Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer
Expectations: RN will be responsible for Med/Surg, Swing Bed (Skilled), and ER patient flow. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications will be required within one year of employment if not already obtained.

Position Summary: THE PRIMARY DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE REGISTERED NURSE IS THE PRACTICE OF NURSING AS DEFINED BY THE STATE OF NEBRASKA NURSE PRACTICE ACT. THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE REGISTERED NURSE INCLUDE THE IDENTIFICAITON AND INTERVENTION IN ACTUAL OR POTENTIAL HEALTH PROBEMS OF INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, OR GROUPS. THE PRACTICE OF NURSING IS DIRECTED TOWARD MAINTAINING HEALTH STATUS, PREVENTING ILLNESS, INJURY OR INFIRMITY, IMPROVING HEALTH STATUS, AND PROVIDING CARE SUPPORTIVE TO AND/OR RESTORATIVE OF LIFE AND WELLBEING THROUGH NURSING ASSESSMENT AND THROUGH THE EXECUTION OF NURSING CARE AND OF DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC REGIMENS AS PRESCRIBED BY THE LICENSED PRACTITIONER.
