Education:

Dr. Sean Griggs is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with additional certification in hand surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Brown University in Rhode Island. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Houston in Texas, followed by a shoulder and elbow fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

More About Dr. Griggs:
Dr. Griggs provides both surgical and non-surgical care for a wide range of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. His expertise includes fracture management of the clavicle, shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand, as well as treatment of both acute injuries and chronic arthritic conditions. He also performs arthroscopic shoulder procedures, including rotator cuff repair and treatment of shoulder instability.
 

In addition, Dr. Griggs treats conditions such as lateral epicondylitis, elbow arthritis, and nerve compression disorders including carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndromes. He has a particular focus on workers’ compensation cases and holds Level II Accreditation.
