Child Passenger Safety Seat Program

Car Seat Belt

Properly installed car seats are one of the most effective ways to protect your child on the road, but even the best car seat can't do its job if it's not installed or used correctly. Our certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians are here to help ensure your child's car seat fits properly and is installed safely, giving you confidence every time you buckle up.

To schedule a free car seat check, email safekids@kchs.org and you will receive an automated message requesting some additional information.  Complete that information and one of our technicians will get in touch to arrange an appointment. Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspections will be performed at KCHS by Child Passenger Safety Technicians by appointment Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm.

There is no inspection fee for community members when KCHS Child Passenger Safety Technicians perform the  Inspection.
