Luke Poore joined Kearney County Health Services (KCHS) in April 2016 to serve as the Chief Executive Officer. He began his healthcare career graduating from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in the Physical Therapy field. Immediately following, he pursued a Healthcare Management education receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bellevue University, also obtaining his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Clarkson College.
Born and raised in Cozad, Nebraska, Luke grew up appreciating all of the impacts a rural hospital has on a community, as a cornerstone to both community growth and success. These impacts, along with the opportunity to make KCHS the standard when it comes to rural healthcare are what drive him in his role to bring the best to those we serve in Kearney County.
Luke and his wife, Jenny live in Minden with their three children, Finley, Stetson, and Luxton. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors whether that it hunting, fishing, or the sports season with his kids, but most of all, spending time with his family.
