Rebecca Cooke has been with KCHS since July 2012. She received a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Rebecca joined the staff at KCHS originally as the Director of Human Resources then transitioned to Director of Professional Services and most recently became the Chief Operating Officer in 2021. Prior to her time at KCHS, she had worked in the banking industry and the corporate retail industry in Human Resource roles.
Rebecca enjoys the continuous learning and changes of the healthcare industry. She feels fortunate to be involved in many areas of KCHS, where no two days are the same, offering new challenges and opportunities for growth. Ultimately, it is the staff who drive the success of KCHS, and her passion lies in helping ensure that KCHS is an exceptional place to work—because satisfied employees lead to satisfied patients and excellent care.
Rebecca and her husband, Chad, have four children: Macie, Jordan, Brooklyn, and Rawlings. She enjoys attending her children’s activities and sporting events, including hockey, softball, and whatever KHS sporting event that might be in session. As a family, they enjoy attending San Francisco Giants baseball games at different stadiums and Tri-City Storm hockey games. She also enjoys dedicating time to community services and has served on the Safe Center Board previously and currently serves on the HelpCare Clinic Board as well as the Tri-City Youth Ice Hockey Association Board.
