Ross Oberg, DPT
Director of Rehabilitation

Ross Oberg joined KCHS in December 2020 as the Director of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapist. He received his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2007, and then a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010. Prior to coming to KCHS, Ross had worked as an Athletic Trainer providing event coverage in the high school setting and as a Physical Therapist with experience in the outpatient, rural hospital, and skilled nursing settings, where he gained experience working with a variety of patients.

Ross enjoys helping patients get back to the activities they love, as well as the variety of patients the rural healthcare setting offers. He has a passion for working with high school athletics and working to provide a high level of care to that community.  In addition to being licensed Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer, Ross has certifications in dry needling, blood-flow restriction training, instrument assisted manual therapy, and taping techniques.

Ross and his wife, Carli, live in here in Minden with their three children, Huntley, Gentry, and Griffin. When not at work or on the sideline of a Whippet game, Ross can be found somewhere outdoors hunting, hiking, camping, or fishing.
