Shelly Choquette serves as the Program Director for Senior Life Solutions at KCHS since September 2023. She attended Central Community College, earning her LPN in 2001 and ADN in 2004. Most recently, she completed her BSN from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in May 2025. Shelly is also certified in Hospice and Palliative Care, bringing with her 14 years of compassionate experience in hospice before transitioning to KCHS.
Shelly enjoys the strong emphasis on family and community that defines KCHS. She values working alongside a team that is both passionate and friendly, united by a commitment to providing high-quality care in rural Nebraska.
Outside of work, Shelly and her husband Chad stay busy raising their five active boys. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, caring for her plants, and spending quality time with her family, especially while camping and boating.
