Sue Driver has been leading the KCHS Laboratory Department for an impressive 37 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Medical Laboratory Science and Chemistry, and a minor in Mathematics. Sue was originally hired to work in both the Lab and EKG departments and went on to expand her skill set with additional training in Radiology as a Limited Operator, along with earning her ACLS certification.
Sue has also contributed her time and expertise to the broader community by serving on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross. What she enjoys most about working at KCHS is the culture, surrounded by hard-working, energetic teammates who know how to have fun while delivering quality care.
Outside of work, Sue is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys canning, gardening, bicycling, kayaking, and spending time in nature. She’s a proud wife to Scott, mother of four—Derek, Sheila, Adam, and Craig—and grandmother to eight grandchildren. Coming from a large family with seven siblings, she treasures family reunions, great food, home decorating, and lively conversation (especially over a good cup of coffee). Travel remains high on her bucket list.
